BOSTON and TEL AVIV, July 20, 2023 -- Ermetic, a leading cloud infrastructure security company, today announced that Rick Beattie has been appointed executive vice president of sales. Rick has served in senior sales management roles with Corelight, Bugcrowd, Carbon Black, Q1 Labs and F5. He reports to Ermetic CEO Shai Morag.

“Rick is a high performance sales executive who has helped several startups achieve lucrative exits including the Q1 Labs acquisition by IBM, and Carbon Black’s IPO,” said Shai Morag, CEO of Ermetic. “His industry relationships, leadership skills and technical expertise will enable Rick to hit the ground running and become an immediate contributor to the Ermetic management team.”

Rick joins Ermetic from Corelight where he served as vice president of sales and helped make the company the fastest growing network detection and response vendor in the market. As vice president of global sales at Bugcrowd he led the crowd sourced security company to record revenues. He helped Carbon Black achieve a successful IPO as vice president of Americas field sales. Rick was also a senior sales leader at SIEM vendor Q1 Labs and contributed to the company’s rapid growth until its acquisition by IBM. He started his career and rose through the sales ranks at application security vendor F5.

“Ermetic is addressing two pressing core requirements among organizations, securing their cloud infrastructures and consolidating the number of security tools they use,” said Rick Beattie. “The Ermetic cloud native application protection platform (CNAPP) not only provides visibility and control over the entire technology stack of cloud infrastructures, but also unifies security for multi-clouds.”
