Ermetic Head of Global Channel Sales Scott Hoard Named 2023 CRN Channel Chief

BOSTON and TEL AVIV, Feb. 6, 2023 -- Ermetic, the cloud infrastructure security company, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Scott Hoard, its Head of Global Channel Sales on its 2023 Channel Chiefs list. Every year, this list honors the IT channel executives who work tirelessly to advance the channel agenda and deliver successful channel partner programs and strategies.

Scott leads the Ermetic Synergia Partner Program for IT service providers, systems integrators, consultants, MSPs/MSSPs and ISVs. The program is designed to help channel partners deliver turn-key cloud native application protection (CNAPP) solutions that span cloud infrastructure entitlement management (CIEM), cloud security posture management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection (CWP), IaC security and more for AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform environments. Previously, Scott was Area Vice President of Americas Channels at Fortanix, where he developed and led the company’s Fortanix Partners First program. Prior to Fortanix, Scott held similar roles at Corelight, Kenna Security, A10 Networks, and Barracuda Networks.

“The security channel landscape has changed dramatically over the past five years with many traditional solution providers focusing on managed services that secure the network, but there’s a large, untapped market for service providers to build cloud transformation and security practices,” said Scott Hoard. “The Ermetic Synergia Partner Program provides all the tools and resources service providers need to capitalize on this opportunity. That’s why we will soon launch a certification program to enable VARs, MSPs and MSSPs to provide risk reduction services that help customers close the security gap in the cloud.”

The 2023 Channel Chiefs have helped their solution provider partners and customers navigate an increasingly complex landscape of interconnected challenges and shifting industry dynamics. With the innovative strategies, programs, and partnerships of these Channel Chiefs in place, the solution provider community has continued to thrive.

The 2023 CRN Channel Chiefs were selected by the editorial staff based on their record of business innovation and dedication to the partner community. This year’s list represents the top IT executives responsible for building a robust channel ecosystem.

“Once again, this year’s list gives well-deserved recognition to the IT Channel Chiefs like Scott Hoard who are dedicated to driving the channel agenda and advocating for the development of strong channel partnerships,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “Under their exceptional leadership, influence, and innovation, the IT channel vendor community continues to deliver solutions and services that meet the rapidly evolving needs of their solution provider partners and their customers.”

The 2023 CRN Channel Chiefs list will be featured in the February 2023 issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/ChannelChiefs.
