Former Cybereason Sales Executive Chad Boyer Joins as Vice President Enterprise Sales for North America
BOSTON and TEL AVIV, Aug. 17 2022 -- Ermetic, the cloud infrastructure security company, announced today that it has promoted Toby Buschini, formerly vice president of worldwide sales, to the position of Chief Revenue Officer where he assumes responsibility for overall growth of company revenue and customer lifecycle. The company also appointed Chad Boyer vice president of enterprise sales for North America reporting to the CRO. Chad brings more than 27 years of sales and sales management experience to Ermetic.
“To keep pace with our accelerating growth, we have promoted Toby to CRO so he can focus all his energy on corporate revenue activities,” said Shai Morag, CEO of Ermetic. “Adding Chad to lead our sales organization in North America is a big win for Ermetic. He is a proven enterprise sales executive with more than 20 years of experience managing higher performance teams for some of the world’s leading security vendors.”
Toby joined Ermetic in 2021 from $43B cyber security vendor Fortinet, where he built and managed a team that scaled enterprise revenue and the field organization in the West by 300%. Previously, he managed a commercial sales organization at $9B networking leader Juniper Networks that doubled revenue and headcount under his leadership. He has also served in senior sales positions with FireEye and McAfee.
“Ermetic has expanded from being a scrappy start-up to a thriving enterprise in a very short period of time,” said Toby Buschini. “I look forward to working with Chad and helping the company continue our growth trajectory in my new role.”
Chad joins Ermetic from Cybereason, where he served as vice president of enterprise sales for North America. He has also held executive sales management positions with data security vendor Rubrik, threat prevention software provider Deep Instinct, and endpoint security vendor Tanium. Chad has a proven track record for building high performance teams, establishing an employee-customer first culture, and fostering an environment of teamwork/collaboration.
“Ermetic has established a leadership position in the cloud infrastructure security market with a comprehensive cloud native application protection platform that addresses multiple use cases,” said Chad Boyer. “This is an exciting time to join the company and be part of building the next large enterprise security vendor.”
